Conservatives are fired up.
While the mainstream (lamestream) media insists that Republicans are “in disarray” and that morale is down as they battle through a tough primary fight for the Presidential nomination, nothing could be further from the truth. The thing that unites all Republicans and allows them to set many of their differences aside is the big Jackass in the center of the room: President Obama. The conference was the ultimate pep rally before the big battle against the Democrat on November 6, 2012. While the primary fight has been bruising (at one point we had 10 candidates in the race), the results have crystallized the conservative message of fiscal sanity, respect for the Constitution and a renewal of the values and beliefs that have made America the greatest nation in history. The CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) was a raucous, rambunctious rally for Conservatives – and their heroes, values and hopes were on patriotic display.
Marco Rubio led off the conference on its first day with an impassioned, fiery speech, extolling the virtues and values of conservatism, while lambasting the “terrible president” and the Obama Regime’s failures.
Rick Perry pointed out that (in reference to a Super Bowl ad featuring Clint Eastwood) if it’s halftime in America we “don’t want to start the second half with the same quarterback.”
Republican heroes Gov. Scott Walker (WI), Rep. Allen West (FL), Ann Coulter and Andrew Breitbart also spoke to standing ovations. Grover Norquist gave my personal favorite line: “The left is not made up of friends and allies – it is made up of competing parasites.”
Sarah Palin brought the conference to a rousing end with the best speech of the show – “We’re not red Americans, we’re not blue Americans, we are Red White and Blue and President Obama, we are through with you.”
While Democrats and their mainstream (lamestream) media insist that Republican campaigns to replace Obama are pointless ventures doomed to failure, Conservatives know that we are primed for victory. It’s kind of like going to the prom in High School. You know you’re going to the prom. You know you’re going to have a great time. In fact, you have a couple of great potential dates to pick from, either of which will be good. You’re looking forward to having a wonderful evening – something that you will recall for the rest of your life. Democrats are like the hairy, old, hippie feminist down the street who hates men and happiness and says that there is no such thing as love and says that going to the prom and enjoying yourself just adds to perpetuation of the illusion, and tells you it’s better to stay home with a depressing gothic novel, cats and guttering candles among the moldering carpets and drapes.
It’s time to close the door and walk into the light. We Are Winning.
