Is it any surprise that our future is looking bleaker with each passing day?

Our economy has devolved into a morass of spending and Liberals / Democrats attempt to fill the gaps by raising taxes, taking more and more money from citizens.

In a very real sense, we have come to the point where we may need to have an economic collapse (bankruptcy) in order to stabilize the economy as a whole, much like the housing market had to lose much of its perceived value in order to arrive at its actual value.

Case in point:

This is when you begin to understand that we are hopelessly overextended.

Until and unless this discrepancy is resolved, things will not improve. Hopefully, with the election of Mitt Romney on Tuesday, things will start to turn around.
