The Obama Regime decided to delay implementation of a key part its most important legislation for 1 year, ostensibly to give businesses additional time to manage the complex integration. It is pure coincidence that the midterm elections are next year, and utter conjecture that Democrats really do not want to have to defend an incredibly unpopular law, as poll after poll after poll has consistently indicated since passage of gargantuan bill in 2010.

Americans do not want this law. But the Obama administration and the two houses of Congress Democrats controlled in the first half of Obama’s first term completely ignored the will of the people, passing the law by the pure partisan support, without the vote of a single Republican.

Now, on the verge of implementation of the law in 2014, a law which Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid all promised would reduce costs, help businesses and address the healthcare crisis in America, the regime is using underhanded tricks to avoid the backlash of the pending midterm elections. Rather than let the “train wreck” (as Senator Max Baucus put it), they have decided not to let it leave the station.

In order to prevent this monstrosity from destroying the American healthcare system, damaging business and crippling the economy for generations to come, Republicans must focus on winning the 2014 midterm elections. That means holding the House of Representatives and taking back the Senate.

As far as legislation goes, the only remaining option is to repeal and replace Obamacare with legislation that addresses the problem of healthcare in America, like the plan of Rep. Paul Ryan, The Patients’ Choice Act without trampling civil liberties and the freedoms we all cherish. There is no need to do what the Democrats did under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi when she insisted that  “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it”.
