Obamacare was once a mark of pride for the Democrat party. Something they celebrated. Something that defined their party’s ideals and principles. Healthcare was to be a right, not a privilege (never mind that in so doing, you automatically decree that healthcare providers become . Obamacare was a campaign talking point. So much so, that the Obama campaign website gift shop sold these “I Love Obamacare” bumper stickers (not anymore of course):
Now? Not so much…
The overwhelming evidence that Obamacare was a colossal failure from the very beginning is indisputable. It is a crisis of their own design. It is the logical outcome of the implementation of the policy. Interesting that in their efforts to rein in the financial industry and Wall Street, Democrats warned that they wanted to eliminate problems created by firms that were “too big to fail”, yet by their actions, they’ve created a leviathan that threatens to derail 1/6 of the American economy.
Obama and the Democrats are running away from Obamacare like the Japanese ran from Godzilla. Abandoning it like the rented mule of a red-headed stepchild.
