Lisa Falkenberg, Fred Goodall, and I joined Craig Cohen to discuss several very interesting topics this week on Houston Public Media‘s show Houston Matters, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: First, Texas Gov. Abbott went to Cuba to work on establishing business ties in light of the changing relationship between America and the communist island. Next, Rice University has chosen to opt out of Texas’ new campus carry law, what about the University of St. Thomas? Finally, an even bigger chocolate wonderland than usual created by chefs at the Hilton Americas-Houston is reminiscent of Homer Simpson’s “The Land of Chocolate”.
