Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson, the embattled Republican incumbent, is campaigning to retain her office while also tackling numerous challenges. Appointed by Governor Rick Perry in 2013, she beat back a challenge from Democrat Kim Ogg in 2014 to win the office outright, but faces Ogg in a rematch in November’s election. Anderson joined the show to address the challenges she’s faced, respond to her detractors, answer questions about controversies during her first full term as DA, and offer her vision for the office.
