This poll ran on Twitter over a period of two days.
Only 19 votes were tallied, but the results were illuminating nonetheless.
More than half of the respondents believe that Donald Trump and his supporters within the GOP – the “Make America Great Again” (#MAGA) voters – should bear the blame and responsibility for a Trump loss in November, while only 5% hold the #NeverTrump faction responsible.
Keep in mind that I’ve got numerous Twitter followers from both sides of the division within the Republican party, and I ran the poll for two days to give people enough time to see the poll and weigh in.
The questions for Republicans become – How can we avoid losing the White House to Clinton under these circumstances? What do we do the day after the election? How do we begin to unify a very split party, and how do we heal the rift?
