This poll ran on Twitter for 24 hours.

Only 7 votes were tallied, but the results were illuminating nonetheless.

71% of the respondents want Priebus to resign. Whether that resignation comes immediately, after the election, or six months ago, there is strong dissatisfaction with the GOP Chairman’s performance.

Keep in mind that I’ve got numerous Twitter followers from across the spectrum within the Republican party, but the disapproval is overwhelming.

Republicans need to face the fact that the questions we must begin to ask ourselves on November 9 – regardless of the outcome – are: What direction do we set for ourselves? How do we begin to unify a very split party? How do we heal the rift?
